Description
Hi there! We’re selling our Nissan Vanette, from 2001, after travelling around New-Zealand for two months.
She has 295000 km’s but that’s pretty decent for a diesel engine. WOF is due in May 2014 and the registration is valid till March 17, 2014. So if you’re planning to travel around for a couple of months, you don’t need to worry about any of this.
It has three seats in the front, the middle one can be folded down to use as a small tray. It also has a radio with a cd player and an aux cable (you can attach your mp3 player).
When we bought it, in late November, we did a pre-purchase check at the VTNZ, which showed no problems, except for a worn out filter hose, which we then had replaced. We also let it get fully serviced while we were at it, just to make sure.
It’s a very economic van, you can drive 400-500 kms with a full tank, and it’ll cost around 40-50 dollar for a full tank.
We’ve had a blast driving it all the way around the North island as well as the South island. Although it’s not a 4wd, we’ve never had problems on gravel roads (a lot of DOC camping sites are accessible via gravel roads).
It has four wheels in the back, for extra grip. It’s a heavy loader that can carry up to 1000 kilo. (I will add a picture of the van, from before we installed the bed. That way if you’re interested in using it for heavy duty work, you see how spacious it is).
You are welcome to ask for a test drive with our van, or just come and check it out, we’ll be staying around Auckland for the time being. My phone number is : 0212165392. My email address is : esther.heeman@gmail.com Just call, text or mail if you have any question!
We need to get rid of all of our camping gear as well, since we’re travelling to Thailand after this.
